Blogger's Quilt Festival!

Amy'sCreativeSide

It's Blogger's Quilt Festival time again!  Hop over to Amy's blog to see what everyone has made! This online festival is such an inspiration!
I'll share my most recent finish, a t-shirt quilt! It's made from my dad's 5k race t-shirts that he collected over the past few years. It was a lot of fun to pick out the best shirts to use for the quilt.  We decided on a "road" design for the background.  I love it!

Here's a great tutorial for t-shirt quilts.  They are very simple to make and leave you with a one of a kind gift.

On the back, I included some t-shirt backs so we can remember all of the race sponsors!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Very fun quilt. T-shirt quilts are so cool (heavy, but cool).

  3. Lauren, that is such a great quilt! I love the idea of using your dad's 5K shirts. Great job, I know t-shirt quilts can be challenging.
